CED means cathodic electrodeposition. During this electrochemical painting process, the workpiece is dipped into an electrically conductive aqueous immersion varnish and a DC voltage applied between the counter electrode and the workpiece.
The principle is to precipitate the water-soluble binder onto the surface of the workpiece connected as the electrode, thereby creating an impermeable adhesive coating film. Through subsequent baking, the paint is firmly connected with the base layer, making the paint material corrosion-resistant.
A subsequent powder coating guarantees an individual colour to finish your products, as well as high corrosion resistance.
